A territory is a geographic area containing the customers that will form a single route, or a regular pattern of routes, over a week or other time period

If your application requires the use of fixed territories, Territory Builder can be used to define route territories before using Route Factory Spreadsheet to determine the stop-by-stop routes within each territory.

Territory Builder only applies to situations with a single depot location.

Territory Builder is currently included as a module within the Route Factory Spreadsheet software package.

FEATURES

• Can find equal-workload territories even in difficult conditions, such as applications having "lumpy" customer demand.

• Territory optimization - Territories are created and shaped to minimize total travel.

• Depot location - The central depot or terminal can be anywhere within the region, not just the center.

• Territory layering - The final solution can contain several layers of territories forming concentric rings about the depot.

• Delivery Days  – Territory workload computations can consider fixed “days-of-week” patterns of orders.
