I’m a project scheduler for a company that rolls out updates to hardware and software for large retailers and other businesses. My scheduling requirements involve routing multiple teams through customer’s many locations in the most efficient manner a week at a time. My teams visit a site once and then move on.
Until I found Route Factory, all the routing programs I found on the Internet assume that your delivery teams either work a daily route within a city or one truck needs an efficient route to delivery across country.
Using Route Factory I can enter how many teams, a list of locations, the available business hours, hours on site, starting and ending points and it provides an efficient route for each team allowing sufficient time at each site to make their installation. Nothing else I’ve found can do that and Route Factory does it easily and quickly.
I do love your software. It’s saved my sanity.
